Leadership Council

In light of the expansion of activities at Mili University and ongoing societal transformations particularly the increasing demands of the job market and the intensifying quality-based competition in higher education at national, regional, and international levels the establishment of a coherent structure for managing and integrating executive affairs is considered an essential necessity. Within this framework, the Leadership Council has been established as one of the key administrative bodies of Mili University to effectively organize and lead management processes, coordination, and high-level administrative decision-making.

The Leadership Council operates under the chairmanship of the University Chancellor. Its composition includes the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, the Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Director of Research and Scientific Journal, and the Deans of faculties. This structure provides an appropriate platform for coordination among different units of the university and contributes to the acceleration and improvement of administrative decision-making processes.

Among the key authorities of the Leadership Council are ensuring coordination in the implementation of major administrative programs, taking necessary measures to improve managerial performance, reviewing issues related to support and executive affairs, and addressing administrative matters. The council also plays a significant role in identifying existing challenges, proposing practical solutions, and making appropriate decisions to enhance the efficiency of the university’s administrative system.

Furthermore, the council is responsible for reviewing and deciding on non-academic matters such as handling complaints of faculty members and staff, improving the work environment, and other administrative issues related to the university. Issues that, due to timing and organizational needs, require decision-making at the leadership level are also discussed and evaluated within this council.

Decisions of the Leadership Council of Mili University are formally recorded, documented, and communicated to the relevant authorities for implementation, ensuring transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in administrative management.
