About the Office of Administrative and Financial Affairs
In accordance with the regulations and administrative standards of the
Ministry of Higher Education, administrative and financial affairs in each
university are organized through a structured system to ensure effective
academic support, financial transparency, and efficient service delivery.
Within this framework, the Office of Administrative and Financial Affairs is a
key administrative unit responsible for leading and supervising financial,
administrative, and service-related operations.
The Vice Chancellor for Administrative and
Financial Affairs is an integral member of the university’s leadership team,
overseeing budget planning and implementation, financial management,
procurement, human resources, information technology, database systems, and
revenue management. The annual budget is prepared based on available financial
capacity and implemented according to the approved plan.
This office directly supervises financial
transactions, payroll, procurement processes, expenditure documentation,
contracts, and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
and regulations. It also reviews tax reporting procedures and the proper
transfer of taxes to relevant authorities.
The office maintains coordination within the
University and with external entities on budgetary and financial matters,
manages administrative personnel processes, and ensures the legal protection
and maintenance of university buildings, green areas, and assets.
Overall, the Office of Administrative and
Financial Affairs safeguards institutional stability, transparency, and
effective management by providing a well-organized administrative and financial
environment that supports the university’s academic mission.
