About the V.C Office for Student Affairs
In
accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education,
student-related matters must be managed in an organized, transparent, and
accountable manner. The Office of Student Affairs is therefore a key
administrative unit responsible for leading and managing student services and
supervising the academic process in line with the approved academic calendar.
The
Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is a core member of the university
leadership team, overseeing student admissions and registration, handling
student complaints, organizing classes, and managing semester and entrance
examinations. The office ensures that all procedures are implemented in
accordance with institutional regulations and the academic calendar.
This
office is responsible for drafting and implementing the academic calendar after
approval, supervising examination schedules, chairing examination and
discipline committees, and ensuring the proper distribution of transcripts,
certificates, exam results, student status confirmations, and student identification
cards. It also maintains student records and archives in a secure and
systematic manner.
Furthermore,
the Office of Student Affairs facilitates cultural and sports activities,
prepares statistical reports related to students, and submits them to the
university leadership and academic council. Overall, the office plays a central
role in maintaining order, protecting student rights, and ensuring the smooth
and effective management of student affairs.
