Introduction to the Counseling Center
The events of recent decades and the rapid shift toward a mechanized and electronic lifestyle have created transformations that individuals are often unable to understand and manage on their own. Therefore, counseling has become an essential necessity for helping people adapt to modern conditions. The Counseling Center of National University is a centralized facility focused on the mental health of university students and all individuals who require psychological support.
Established
in 2024, the center operates in various areas including individual counseling,
group counseling, trainee intake and training, professional development of
counselors and psychologists, psychological research, and psychological
assessment. All activities are conducted under the supervision of the
university’s counseling authority.
The
center was founded following a proposal from the Student Affairs Office and
approval by the University’s leadership and academic council, and it began its
operations on campus in 2024.
